The Proper Care of Rolling Shutters
Rolling shutters are designed to be practically maintenance free, as they are made from only the highest quality materials available.
However, like anything exposed to the elements and regular everyday use, the shutters will require care and cleaning to prevent buildup of dirt and maintain proper operation.
This cleaning service is recommended annually, and includes lubrication of all moving parts and inspection of components for proper operation. We also offer a washing service for the exterior shutters to free the exposed areas from dirt and salt air buildup. If your shutter is in a waterfront location, we recommend that the tracks be lubricated more often and the exposed areas be washed down every quarter to help prevent salt air corrosion and ensure worry free operation.
